The Secret Treasure of Twin Falls

Cleansing

Torrents of water
pound bathtub-sized rocks
at the bottom
of the Snake River Canyon,
blasting away dirt,
beating off irregularities:
sanitizing, smoothing,
shaping,
until the rocks
stand shining,
immaculate,
pure.

    I like your writing.

    Channelle’s poem

    World is Different

There are warlocks by my grandmas

There are fairies in the rainbow.

This is kind of different here.

There are witches on the trampoleen.

It is kind of frightening here.

    Bananas are alive.

    Bags are walking everywhere.

    Eyeballs are popping out.

    Knives are soring everywhere.

    It’s scary in here.

There are witches in the kitchen.
There are dragons in my wagons.
There are warlocks in the windows and..
    THIS IS FREAKING ME OUT!
